On the 13th June sheep farmers registered with Wicstun Vets were invited to attend a meeting at Pocklington Rugby Club for an evening of informative presentations, food, drink and a good old catch up!
Veterinary Surgeons Reg and Emma gave a presentation on identifying different diseases in sheep. The talk included lots of photographs and pictures that weren’t for the faint hearted! They also discussed selecting the appropriate treatments and when veterinary advice should be sought.
There were over 60 attendees and after the presentations there was plenty of time for eating together and story swapping.
Wicstun Vets hold regular meetings for registered farmers and small holders. It’s a chance to share information and advice to support our important local industries. It’s got nothing at all to do with plenty of food and great company!
