Classroom delight as ‘Vet Week’ takes over!

Experienced veterinary surgeon provides Wicstun’s Andrew with wise tuition in dressing application
Classroom delight as ‘vet week’ takes over!
We had the absolute pleasure of helping pupils from Pocklington Pre- School with their ‘Vet’ themed classroom project recently.
The children, aged between 3 and 5, took part in a week of exploring animals, pets and animal care.
Their classroom was decorated, complete with a vet role-play area and there was plenty of opportunity for everyone to dress up and play with bandages.

Wicstun equipment was subject to rigorous testing by the visiting experts!
Guided tour!
As a part of their vet themed week, the entire class paid a visit to Wicstun Vets, Pocklington, for a guided tour. Vets, nurses and support staff joined up with teachers and helpers to ensure that the very special (and cute) visitors were safe and well entertained!

The examining board were a tough crowd to please, but thankfully Andrew’s scanning skills didn’t let him down!
The children had the opportunity to look at all sorts of veterinary equipment and the different areas of a veterinary practice, as well as learning about what we do to help animals when they’re not feeling so well.
They asked all sorts of clever questions and we were absolutely thrilled to host a visit.
Thank you for coming and come back again soon!
