Behaviour expert, Jodie, teams up for puppy power project!

Super friendly behaviourist, Jodie, boasts a Bachelors Science Degree in Animal Behaviour
The Wicstun gang are absolutely delighted to announce a spot of team work with local pet behaviour expert, Jodie Ellis, of Teaching People, Teaching Dogs.
Together, we want to ensure that you get your puppy off to the best start in life. On Saturday 23rd February at 2pm, puppy mayhem will take place at our Pocklington branch at the first session of a two part puppy course. We can’t wait!
Why is it important?
As the owner of a young pup there is a lot to consider; vaccinations, parasite control, diet, exercise and much more. An important part of raising a confident, well balanced dog is ensuring that socialisation and behaviour are addressed from an early age. The steps you take now will have an impact on your dog as an adult, we want to support you in achieving the most positive puppy development possible.

RVN Lizzie with her very own Pippa, who benefited from plenty of socialisation as a pup.
What it’s all about…
Puppies will have the chance to mingle with each other and make friends, whilst owners spend time in session with Jodie and the Wicstun nurses, who will run through important advice and practical hints and tips. There will be a small amount of homework – practical (and fun!) exercises for your puppy and an invite to attend the next session.
Can my pup come along?
If your puppy is fully vaccinated and aged between 14 – 20 weeks old, please contact us on 01430 873219 to book your place or email jmallia@wicstunvets.co.uk.
Class registration is currently open to Wicstun registered pets only.
