Are you planning to travel with your pet in 2019?

Government releases pet passport update
The Government has released guidance for pet owners who intend to travel with their pets to and from the EU in 2019, should a no deal Brexit happen in March.
Whilst Wicstun Vets makes no political statement at all, highlighting the potential changes to the passport process as they happen could help pet owners to prepare. Changes may mean that pets who already have a current, valid passport may need additional blood tests and extended waiting times before being able to return from the EU back into the UK.

We would strongly urge pet owners intending to take their pets on holiday next year to regularly check for new updates. The above link is accurate as of today, but of course guidance is likely to change along with political developments.
