Chris was born and raised in Pickering, North Yorkshire. He did his best to take care of some escapist rabbits as a child before progressing to running after a lunatic springer spaniel and working on a dairy farm whilst preparing for vet school.

He studied in Edinburgh and then settled in York near family and friends, learning his trade at a small animal first opinion practice in the centre of the city. Chris joined Wicstun Veterinary Group in the summer of 2022 and has a keen interest in internal medicine and ultrasonography.
