Chris joined us in Summer 2022 after spending 2 years at a practice in York.

Brought up in Pickering, North Yorkshire, Chris has always been attached to this part of the world and is delighted to now live in York, near his family. Once he finished his veterinary degree at Edinburgh Vet School in 2019 he worked in York for two and a half years before joining Wicstun. Obtaining a post-graduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine is his primary focus over the following years, alongside his particular interest in ultrasound scanning.

Being lucky enough to still have plenty of his friends in the area, Chris spends a lot of his free time with them and also enjoys reading, writing, and hopelessly killing houseplants for undetermined reasons. Soon Chris has plans to foster and potentially adopt one of the many stray kittens that come to our Market Weighton branch.
