We understand that time is precious! Managing pet care as a part of our everyday lives can be challenging. We’re here to help you by providing a complete repeat prescription and diet order service; visit us, call us or order on-line – the choice is yours.

Repeat Prescriptions

Terms and Conditions

** If your order is urgent, please do call the practice directly and we will endeavour to meet your needs

** Please note that a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all orders

** Orders placed on a weekend will be processed on a Monday morning and will typically be available for collection on a Tuesday.

** Please ensure that you have enough medication at home to cover at least three days treatment from the day of placing your order

** For patients on prescription only medications; your pet is required by law to have regular health checks with a vet to ensure that their medication remains the most appropriate treatment and that the dosage remains safe.

** Written prescription charges must be paid for at the practice before submissions to the online pharmacy can be processed. 

If you have not had a recent check up (typically 3 or 6 months, case dependent) you may be required to attend an appointment in order that medication can be prescribed and dispensed. The cost of a POM check is £26.02 (current as per July 2023, subject to change)

POM-V’s

Veterinary Prescription Only Medicines (POM-V’s) can only be prescribed by a Veterinary Surgeon who has the animal(s) “under their care”. This means that they must have been examined immediately before or recently enough for the vet to have personal knowledge of the condition or health status to make their decision.

POM-V’s can be dispensed from any practice. Alternatively you can request a written prescription by phone or at the surgery which can then be used to obtain the medicines prescribed from any pharmacist or veterinary surgery.
