Wicstun Vets and our sister practices are located across the East Riding of Yorkshire, set in beautiful surroundings over the Vale of York, at the foot of the famous Yorkshire Wolds. The stunning East Coast, North York Moors National Park and the vibrant, historic City of York are all within half an hour’s reach. We’re very happy to discuss helping you move closer.
We’re all about our team, our patients, our clients, our communities, continued learning, charity, the environment and reinvestment. At Wicstun we are dedicated to our cause, we work hard and because we believe in a happy environment, we always make time for a healthy dollop of fun. There are exciting times ahead having recently begun building work on a purpose built Tier 3 Animal Hospital.

Careers in the Veterinary Profession
Wicstun Vets are proud to be an accredited Training Practice for Veterinary Nurses. We have a number of clinical coaches on our team and we thoroughly enjoy guiding our students through their practical and academic studies. We have a structured approach to gaining practical experience in line with learning – there’s always a healthy dose of fun to help everything along.
We welcome student vets to spend time with us whilst studying towards their Veterinary Medicine Degree. This helps them to gain insight into everyday day life in practice. Many of our Veterinary Team spent time with us as students, some of them a long time ago! It’s always great to welcome them back.
Our support teams are here to look after the many non-clinical aspects of life in veterinary practice. Health and Safety, human resources, business administration, customer care, operational running – our support teams form a vital part of providing veterinary services. We welcome people from a variety of backgrounds and experience to the team.
